Oh, I can so relate to this. I haven't published an essay here for a while, mostly because between moving, my day job and chronic illness I often just don't have the energy to show up as frequently. But then, I wonder if we have simply been conditioned to constantly think we are not enough, or not doing enough, and should be at another stage in our lives, when really, there is no being behind or ahead. There is just living.
I am trying to choose self-compassion and kindness over guilt (easier said than done!) and feeling like I "should" do this or that. And following my curiosity, as you put it so well in your latest post. You are writing what's true in your heart and this is already an adventure in itself. Showing up is brave. I have a feeling more people will discover your writing in time. 💚
